Death Certificate

A legal document proving death, used by the executor to carry out their duties. There are different types of certificates including: Medical Certificate of Death, prepared by the medical examiner or coroner, Statement of Death, prepared by the funeral home, and Certified Death Certificates, which are certified copies of the death certificate.
