An educated professional, trained to help individuals by providing advice on a broad range of financial matters, in the same way as a Financial Advisor, but one who ostensibly provides clients with written financial plans. Ask to see an example of one of their financial plans to make sure it’s what you’re looking for. Financial planner is only a title.
