Intermeddled

In general, this is a term used to describe the mixing of assets. More specifically, an executor wishing to recuse (excuse themselves from the task) , must do so before engaging in any of the duties or they will need to make the request from a judge, as they are deemed to have “intermeddled” the assets of the estate.
